We are an international ministry organization, but don't let that fool you; we're just as much about grassroots ministry as we are international. In fact, we've adopted the word GLOCAL to describe our ministry emphasis...a combination of Global and Local ministry efforts. Whether you live across the seas or across the street, we are here to help you, encourage you, bless you, and enable you to use the gifts God has given you to use to build His Kingdom. We don't have all the answers, but we acknowledge the Bible, the Word of God, as our Answer Book, the Living Torah, the roadmap for life. So, whether you're a pastor or a janitor, a senator or a housewife, a businessman or a farmer, a small group leader or simply searching and questioning the truth, we pray there will be a way we can serve you. We are incredibly excited to have Major Dave and Julie Young join the Heart of God International Team as Directors of Heart of God in Haiti. Heart of God in Haiti is working with Helping for Christ to provide an education to the children of the working poor in Port Au Price, Haiti. Helping for Christ runs a Christian day school that teaches the children the Bible in addition to math, reading, French, geography and Haitian history. Each day the children come, they are learning the skills they need to provide for themselves and their families when they get older. In addition, they are being taught about the love of God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to helping the children of our school, Helping for Christ is also reaching out to the street children of Port Au Prince. Although the dream of operating a children’s home for these children is not yet a reality, the members of Helping for Christ are still willing to help. To date, the team members have taken in 18 children who were living on the streets, providing them with a home and loving care. All these children also attend Helping for Christ’s Christian school, receiving an education and learning about the love of God. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) We call it the "Great Commission". The more I pray and seek the Lord, the more I'm aware that to truly move in line with the leading of His Spirit is to fulfill the Great Commission. As I write this, I feel so burdened to do more and get involved in more areas of the world where it's so hard to evangelize. I have this passion but feel so limited. Surely there is more I can do ... surely there is more WE can do. My prayer is that God will continue to increase our boundaries and allow us to have an influence in places where few (if anyone) will dare to go. We're reaching villages in India right now where the Gospel has never been preached, where evangelists or pastors fear to go. But there has to be more we can do! My prayer is that God will show us, open doors ... It's all about the Great Commission ... our lives as believers MUST be driven by the need to spread the Good News. Let's all ask ourselves, "what can I do" and then heed the voice of the Master as He commissions us all to "Go...." Whether you are led to go next door or across the sea, the call is going out to us all: "Go into all the world and preach the gospel."

We have prayers requests that come through the Heart of God International Ministries network of ministries while we often have very special prayer requests coming in through email and even in our post office box. Often times, however, we don't feel free to share these openly because of their sensitive nature. We have developed this special prayer ministry to cover these prayer needs and we need your help!
